THREE KEYS
1. Rebounding battle: This game features two of the NBA’s premier rebounders, Sacramento’s DeMarcus Cousins and Minnesota’s Kevin Love. Both will draw a lot of atttention when there are missed shots to prevent second-chance scoring opportunities.
2. Big on big: Minnesota center Nikola Pekovic plays a physical style that has slowed Cousins. Cousins can bang with Pekovic but would also do well to use his advantage in quickness to go around him away from the rim.
3. Passing with care: Minnesota guard Ricky Rubio is second in the NBA in steals with 2.65 per game. If Rubio can force turnovers, it will fuel Minnesota’s fast-break offense.
