Norwich v Hull City team news: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview

Team news and possible starting line-ups for Norwich City v Hull City at Carrow Road (kick-off 3pm). Read a match report and reaction here at full-time.

Nikica Jelavic is expected to be thrown straight into Hull City’s attacking line following his club-record £7.5m switch from Everton. The Croatian international has trained with the Tigers all week since terms were agreed and is fit to make his debut.

A start for Jelavic appears guaranteed, but fellow new arrival Shane Long, who joined from West Bromwich Albion for £6.5m yesterday, will not be available. Long picked up a slight ankle knock in his final game for the Baggies at Southampton last weekend and, as a result, was omitted from the travelling squad that headed to Norfolk yesterday.

There are no fresh concerns for Bruce and, provided he continues with the 3-5-2 shape favoured in the last five away games, it appears George Boyd could be the most likely to make way for Jelavic to join Yannick Sagbo in attack.

Bruce’s attacking options should soon be increased still further by the returns of Robbie Brady (groin) and Sone Aluko (Achilles). The pair, who have seen their once bright campaigns derailed by injury, have enjoyed another positive week in light training. Paul McShane (ankle) is another hoping to return to full fitness over the next two weeks.

Possible Hull City starting line-up to face Norwich: McGregor, Davies, Bruce, Chester, Figueroa, Elmohamady, Livermore, Huddlestone, Meyler, Sagbo, Jelavic.
